The argument of miracle or coincidence seems moot, since no one can agree on what a miracle is. Most readers will be more concerned about the "aggressive cancer" so blithely referred to at the end of this post. Theologically, I'm concerned with the idea that life is not limited to our human body's lifetime, so that we are thankful no matter the end result of our bodily destiny when God grants us grace to see if not inhabit what is true, good, and meaningful.
WOW! I see it as a miracle! The timing was a miracle, the fact that you were with your wife was a miracle, but also the fact that she instinctively felt led to pray and sing and speak to your "lifeless" body was also a miracle. Yes, I believe that God is still in the business of working miracles. I'm wondering why you escaped witnessing the insurrection of our capital building on the 6th while Congress was performing their constitutional duty in receiving and approving the electoral college reports. Now I will join the others in praying that God will restore you soon to strong health so that you can continue the work that God has called you to do. Blessings from Everett, WA.
Glory to God! And I'm so glad you are still here, for everyone's sake! Also praying for you all as you process significant trauma (and for further healing, too).
Thank you for sharing this amazing story, Ron--sounds like several miracles including Arbutus in the ICU praying, singing and exhorting you! We're grateful for your life and the reminder that every day is truly a gift. Sending our love and prayers for healing.
So thankful god preserved your life gir another day. You have been a blessing to do many of us and we value your wisdom and living heart. Will be keeping you in our prayers.
