Biden might "hear" concerns about abortion and religious freedom, but he'll do nothing about it, especially regarding abortion. All the advances made in the Supreme Court will be reversed and the grave injustice of abortion will continue to be legal and our abortion culture will prevail. I hope and pray as a practicing Catholic for a Trump victory and an eventual court loaded with pro-life justices. Championing the end of capital punishment doesn't make one "pro-life." There is no comparison between the two. Abortion isn't "rare" and never will be so long as it is legal and encouraged by our culture. "Safe, rare, and legal." It sounds nice maybe to someone who doesn't want to think, but the only thing true about it is that it is legal. It's never "safe" since it always kills, and at over 2,000 per day in the US it certainly isn't "rare." There is no more dangerous place for a human being to be than in their mother's womb. But it is rare that someone is executed by the State. And it's usually for murder. So how does killing a handful of murderers compare to the killing of thousands and thousands of babies in the womb whose only "crime" is to be inconvenient? (BTW, I oppose the death penalty, though it is not intrinsically evil as is abortion).

Abortion should be "less frequent." That would be nice but the goal should be that abortion should be abolished. Should slavery be legal and be an individual choice while those who oppose it are given lip service that "we hope it will be rare and less frequent"? What good would that do and isn't that leaving an important person out of the equation as is likewise with abortion?

Joe Biden claims to be a Catholic but he is in violation of his faith by materially cooperating with the grave injustice of abortion. He has sold out his faith for power and money.

It's nice that you say that abortion should be "grieved" and not "celebrated" but I respectfully submit that you should back that up with actions and vote accordingly. By supporting Biden and Democrats you are voting for the "celebrators" of abortion who have zero compassion for the unborn and who will do NOTHING to stop it. They might push the immorality of contraception as some kind of "solution" but the fact is that half of those who aborted were using contraception the month they became pregnant, besides the fact that the contraception mentality leads to using abortion as a form of "contraception."

Lastly, can you give some examples of what is so "devastating" about Trump policies? I realize the elites in Washington have lost their power because of Trump and are very anxious to regain it, so they have been devastated, but in what way have we the citizens been devastated? Also, how would Biden's policies be more racially just? Can you give an example of a Trump policy that is racist or unjust racially? Before COVID, minorities were at historic low unemployment rates.

Thank you for the opportunity to post my opinion. I also appreciate that though you are an anti-Trumpster, you're not mean about is as are so many of them.

Hillary Clinton was actually being consistent in not stating abortions should be "rare." Why should they be rare? Why should they be mourned? Why would someone who can answer those questions then vote FOR abortion? Also note that devout Catholics, those who really practice their faith, are not satisfied with the idea of "less" abortions. They want NO abortions. We want the unborn to be protected by law. Clintonesque babble like "safe and rare" doesn't save any babies.

If I were an American I couldn't vote for either Trump or Biden. One fails to respect women, is ready to trash the environment for the short term benefit of the rich and misuses the Bible. The other discriminates against unborn children and fails to respect equal rights for evangelical and Catholic Christians. Similarly in the last UK election I couldn't vote for any of the main Parties so support the Christian Peoples Alliance. I'd rather vote for policies I broadly believe in than against the Party I fear most! John Wainwright

Trumps is, for what ever reason, doing the right thing on a HOST of issues. Is he just doing it to get reelected? Dunno. Doing the right thing for the wrong reason is, on net, better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

It is certainly better than electing those who will consistently do the wrong thing for whatever reason. That is what our alternative is. Period.
